  Beginning in October, participating Walgreens locations will give you the edge in fighting the flu season. Licensed health care professionals will administer flu shots and nasal spray flu vaccines in-store. Some locations will also be offering pneumonia vaccinations. * Flu vaccination schedules are subject to vaccine availabilty. In the event of a vaccine shortage or distribution delay, Walgreens may limit the vaccine to those at highest risk of complications from influenza (based on direction from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).
Flu and pneumonia vaccinations may not be available in all areas. Not available in Puerto Rico.
Flu and pneumonia vaccinations may be covered for eligible Medicare Part B patients who are not members of an HMO. Walgreens will submit a claim to Medicare on your behalf. A Medicare card must be shown when services are provided.
